THE MOTIVTION THAT LED ME HERE: I spent over 13 years working in the corporate world.
While I appreciated my job and was grateful to the Lord for it, there was always a part of me that believed there was more to life!!!
A quite voice urged me to seek something greater, something that would bring deeper satisfaction and a true sense of purpose, rather than just settling for the routine of a 9- to -5 existence.
"OVERCOMING COGNITIVE BARRIERS":
Although I knew I needed to take action and listen to my inner voice, I struggled with a lot of self-doubt-questions like," What if I am not good enough?" or "what if it does not work for me?"
The "what ifs" seemed endless:)
However, overcoming these mental blocks is crucial when starting on any new journey. I chose to embrace the possibilities and not let the negative thoughts dominate my mind.
My goal was to create an Extra Ordinary life for myself and my family, and ultimately, the choice was mine to make.
THE BOOK THAT LED ME TO SUCCESS: I've always been passionate about personal development and love immersing myself in books that inspire and motivate growth- both mentally and spiritually. One such book that had a profound impact on me is The Power of Now- by Eckhart Tolle. It emphasizes the importance of living in the present moment- cherishing and maximizing it to the best of our ability - while trusting that the rest will fall into place.
This book was revelation for me - highlighting how I had been procrastinating and showing me that the time to act is now.
It became a clear choice for me - It was Now or Never...
